RE: [AskAVet] barn fly system

I have been in barns that use them. I had to watch the timeing due to my asthma. If i was in the barn when they went off I was prone to having an attack. We also had a few horses that had allergy issues from it.  Not sure if it was from getting on them or in thier feed, water.  It did help with the bugs.

Don't know about the system you are looking at, but I have noticed that since I have had a handful of chickens in the yard, I have almost no flies at all. They used to be really think on our window screens. We noticed a big reduction after the first year with chickens, and now into the fourth summer, I have only picked up a fly swatter twice.

Subject: [AskAVet] barn fly system

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone used the Pryanha Spraymaster system in their barns. I am considering getting one installed in my barn and would appreciate any feedback if anyone uses the system. All on-line reviews are great but it would be fantastic to hear from someone who actually has one installed in their barn.  The flies are so bad this summer in Kentucky that I have to do something for my poor horses.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Sandy Bliss
