I have contacted Jeanne...she's great..but the waiting lists are long..including Old Friends (I got them the stallion, Leave Seattle)
and I do know about horror stories...someone Doc knew for yrs offered to help out and had her for about 6 weeks (i purchased food for him to feed her)..she was supposed to have over 100 acres to graze on (and I know she'd have done well without grain on a field that big)..but she came back to me under weight...not skeletin skinny...but getting there...I found out just on a hunch to check with a local dealer when he had told me he had to move mama T...and sure enough...he had sold her for $100 and kept the money...then lied to me about it...so I know.
the dealer was a gem and gave no fight to send her back to me...he even transported her for me...so I have no quams with the dealer...
she's put on a bit of weight...not quite where she was when she left me...but close...but like I said...the geldings she's turned out with pick on her and I feel really bad about it...I'm worried about that knee...she went from being boss mare to being at the bottom of the pecking order...breaks my heart..
