[AskAVet] Re: Eye injury...treating but concerned

There was once an eye powder sold for horses...but now is found only in small animal vet catalogs (i think i found one on 1800 petmeds)...it's neo-predef (not sure of spelling)...it is a steriod so using less of this works better...and it also has a pain reliever in it...Doc used this and searched hi and low for it when it wasn't in the horse vet areas...I have a bottle i keep on hand just in case...oh and if you mix it like a paste with steril water...lol..it makes a great bee sting antidote...lol...Doc used it on our youngest daughter when she got stung by a bumble bee...

He was very difficult to treat so had to go back to the vet on Friday for sedative, which we had to use to treat it until Sunday, when he finally gave up.
