Incident Description: Former owner went to check on horse 5 months after having to donate the horse to a rescue in Frankfort Indiana when she fell on hard times. She found him in an emaciated state 5 months after being in the rescues possession. Law enforcement was called in as well as local humane society. Previous owner was told he had been adopted and would have to remain at rescue center for another 30 days. Then after police were there, it was posted on their facebook page the following day that he had gone to his new home. The rescue will not release name of new owner and we are doubting his adoption. We believe that he has been hidden or moved ... OWNER BELIEVES THIS HORSE NEEDS IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION AND NEEDS TO BE FOUND NOW!
