Incident Description: 22 Thoroughbred Stallions, Mares & Foals missing in Schorharie County, NY after Flood Waters from Hurricane Irene receded. Horses possibly down river but not sure where they are. Missing herd includes a Welsh Pony and two paint/pinto horses.

I would hate to think that people would take advantage of this situation by selling any of these horses that could have survived... but there are people who would. Be on the look out for them on Craigslist, other listing services and auctions for the next month or two especially!
