Re: [AskAVet] Re: Horse safe show sheen

Ha ha, thanks Joyce.  Gee my place is devoid of grass at the moment so the dust may stick to the olive oil.  I will give it a go anyway, it is more to just get the tangles out. They roll in the dam anyway and look like swamp creatures half the time, so the expensive Show Sheen is just a waste of money for me now, as nice as it is to use on them.... a day after, they have had a swim or something, so it gets annoying using $100's dollars worth of Show Sheen.  We have a boiling hot weekend coming up too so olive and baby oil it will be, as I know Sat and Sun will be spent sloshing in the dams!!!!  It's ok when they do that, but if they have dredlocks in their tail or mane, then they look really terrible!  So, I wanna get these out before the weekend.

Kim, the olive oil leaves quite a shine or gloss. If you have a lot of
dry dirt, you may notice dust sticking to the tail the following days.

Hey.. if you dont care for it on the tail, you can always take the spray
olive oil into the kitchen.
