their condition their activity, and get feed recommendations. They'll
usually come do a core sample of hay, analyze it, and recommend
supplements. Alternatively, you can send a sample to your Co-operative
Extension office for analysis. It's not TOO much trouble, and better than
guessing and, possibly, spending more than you need to, without getting the
job done. Sometimes the feed reps are in the area and willing to come by to
do the sample, see horses, and talk to you. Hope this helps.
