before and it did go away. This one in her ear is strange looking, it looks as if someone took a block of skin and set it in her ear. It is solid to the touch but not tender only the canal and outer area of the canal is tender. As I said before she does have water in it as well. Our other gelding whom is also gray has a large conglomeration of small melonomas on his right side close to the flank area but they do not cause him any pain or problems. Actually grays have the highest cancer rates....they tend to develop melanomas.

If the has black skin under the white hair, she is actually "gray". If she's "white" she would have pink skin. Pink skin is more susceptible to cancer. I'd have her vet checked if at all possible.
