ok. i have a lady at my barn who is very anti alfalfa cubes. But is sucking down all the hay. And has x racehorses.. is it ok to feed the high fat calf mana or the other baby supplemment food as a weight gainer?? or add a hay stretcher?The throughbreds r where i have a problem. Iv tried to convince her to add a weight gainer.as a supplement. but she never follows through. And still complains.they are too skinny. Which they are. i was also thinking about adding a bran mash a few times a week as a filler?She doesnt want to spend a lot of money.i didnt know if some of the "baby feed" is safe or would even do anthing.. They r on a 12% pelleted feed. And have a 10acer pasture which they r always out in. Anybody outhere have a good safe way to add/keep weight to x racehorses?? thanks sarah
