I talked to a sheep person and she said sheep get this sometimes when they need to be wormed, but he was just wormed on Sept 16 (Ivermectin).
She said it might be protein 'leaking' out of his blood ???? His legs do stock up slightly occasionally, but that hasn't happened at the same time as his chin swelling up.
I did take a good look inside his mouth and didn't see anything. I felt all around his lower jaw and didn't feel anything odd either.
It's lower than where the cavesson goes so I'm pretty sure it's not from that. It's not where Strangles lumps would be, and it's not round like a tick bite reaction. It lasts a day or two, no longer than that.
Any ideas?
