I had a fly sprayer in my barn for a couple of years and finally removed it. I did not feel 'safe' when that chemical would shoot out and often land on me or my kids.
I had great success with the fly predators for years. I found the best prices at March Biologicals.
Just be careful of the first shipping date. One of the companies wanted me to start buying them too soon in the spring. Too cold and too rainy. No sense getting them only to have them die or not hatch.
I increased my shipment the 3rd week of July because that is when the fly population escalates in our area.
I stopped getting the predators a couple of years ago because I got chickens and they loved dining on the predators no matter how hard I tried to "hide" them.

All on-line reviews are great but it would be fantastic to hear from someone who actually has one installed in their barn. The flies are so bad this summer in Kentucky that I have to do something for my poor horses.
