MeWe is a good option for those who don't care for the data-sucking sounds emanating from the FB dictators, esp. in the wake of capriously shutting down animal groups on the platform for "violating community standards" (which are so vague and have so many holes, you can drive the Titanic through and never touch 'em).

Yahoo has made the decision to no longer allow users to upload content to the Yahoo Groups site. Beginning October 28, you won't be able to upload any more content to the site, and as of December 14 all previously posted content on the site will be permanently removed.
