the blockage, but I wouldn't recommend trying if you're not VERY
experienced and have experienced help. I understand your anxiety, but
she'll be fine. It's not your fault either, it happens. If you've been
feeding dry beet pulp for a while, just moisten hers from now on. There
are many people who feed it dry with no trouble. It can clump up and if
a horse bolts it's feed, well, you see the result. I'm fortunate, my
horse doesn't bolt and I am able to feed alfalfa cubes or anything else
with no trouble. A vet call /is /expensive though, so you might want to
wet or soak her feed from now on, just so you don't have to do this
again! Choke is pretty scary, especially when their feed starts coming
out their nose!
