That is why most of mine wear halters. They are thin and breakaways but
still halters. Just the other day, someone let all 26 of my horses out
of the pastures and into the road. Thank goodness for the horses that
had halters on as I was able to grab them and lead them with the non
haltered (and wild) ones following them. At that hour of the night, if I
did not have halters on them, then there would have been hurt or dead
horses.
