Re: [AskAVet] Skin and Coat?

You'll have to wait til his new coat grows in, then keep him out of the sun. And you can't beat black oil sunflower seeds to make a coat beautifully shiny. I feed my Arabian 1 cup morning and evening. My minis get a handful morning and evening. I haven't had to clip the minis since I started feeding them 3 years ago. They shed out as sleek as my Arab!

I need suggestions on how to get a black horses coat really black and shiny.? My new horses coat is dull and has evidently lightened with the sun.? Thanks in advance.

Lisa
