sorry i guess i should have clarified. These two mares were adopted out of the canter (place ottb in homes ) program a few years ago. And the lady thought she would make extra money by breeding them and selling the babies.. Which i believe breeding should b left to breeders.. Not back yards... well she lost her job. And is moving back to new zealand. And meanwhile these girls r in bad bad shape.. The lady at our barn is the advisior i guess for this area. And were a pretty tight knit group at the barn. We all help out with everything and everyone as much as possible. We all were just looking for the best and safest way to get these girls back in health so we can find them proper homes that will take care of them. Sometimes i wish it was as easy to spay horses as it was cats and dogs... Thanks sarah from ohio.
