I cleaned my gelding's sheath a few months ago and then a couple weeks later, I noticed it was all flaky, so I rinsed it again thinking I didn't rinse it well enough the first time, I had never done that before...Anyway, it was fine and then yesterday, I noticed it is like that again, big flakes kind of all over (when it's out you can see it), not to be gross, but they peel right of and are all dry, no oozing or anything. What is it, is that normal for them to "shed" skin like that?? Thanks!
