[AskAVet] back problem?

hi everyone.. I dont know if this is a dumb question or not. But all of a sudden my 4yr old wont give to the bit.. she will fight me w everything shes got.. Which wasnt a problem before.. I ride her in a loose ring snaffle.. But when i was on her.. She has 2 "hot spots on either side of her back.. And its very hard and tight.. Could this b a back problem?? She is very stubborn. But iv never really paid attention to it before.. Is that normal..?? Sarah
